outcome
I am very much satisfied with my outcome.
It is definitely not a stereotypical antiquarian shop, but I am confident that it is a good thing. Why?
Because the interior I created reflects on the content of the shop which is 60's, 70's oriented music magazines, records, posters with or without autographs. The interior is funky and lively. I tried to use bright colours and combine fine finishes with rough bricks, soft fabrics and wood.
Instead of creating a conservation-al area I tried to create the space with an atmosphere.

Mood-board
Here are some bulletponts :
The birdy pattern in blue is not going to be blue very light olive colour painted over a no finish brick wall. Or dark green colour, painted over very light olive brick wall.
The skeleton lampshades are going to be used modestly but significantly.
Wooden floor - is going to be old wooden floor.
If the birdy pattern idea i not going to be used the geometric pattern is, just as modest sections on walls.
Text - bookshop for out of date material.
So here we are, starting a new project.
The ultimate goal is to design an ingenious bookshop interior that would merge the practicality, the aesthetics and a public toilet.
What I want to start of is create a mood-board of materials and the colour scheme I want to use. Also the interior details to sum it all up with a mood.
I haven't got a single idea still, however moving on with some of the details is like gathering a puzzle - as long as you have the key points the image is visible way before you finish. At least I hope that is what is going to happen...

7x7
For the two weeks before Christmas holiday started we were doing a slightly unusual project that was not totally related. We were extracting information from the route project and converting it into the 49 little drawings. I mostly worked with what I used as basis - inspiration sources like star constellations, geodesic dome and others. So here is my result.
